YUMMY!

went to the tin table last night for dinner and it was awesome! zero parking so remember to pack your patience pants if you give it a try, but the food will not disappoint. i mean how can you go wrong with truffle oil french fries and a steak topped with bacon, blue-cheese butter?

i DID it!

most of you who follow facebook already know this BUT the big climb was yesterday and i'm happy to report that i'm still alive...barely. it was brutal and i'm pretty sure i'm never doing it again. i completed all 69 flights of stairs in a mere 24 minutes...the best time was 7 minutes so there you go. i was actually surprised at how tough it really was. i expected my body to take it a little harder than it did but the worst part is the breathing! i thought my lungs were going to explode and my throat is very scratchy. seriously, i sound like a 75 year old lady with a smokers cough. gross. anywho, unless i do some serious breathing exercises, i doubt i'll ever do it again. BUT i'm glad i did it. thanks to all who donated to this GREAT cause!!

bummer...

just found out that one of my favorite places is closing. madame k's in ballard has the BEST pizza, not to mention it's a kick in the pants to visit.

busy. busy.

there are some really great things happening at work and i'm loving being busy. PTL! hopefully, i'll be able to reveal what they are but for now, that's all you get.

sigh.

i won't go into my feelings on last night's finale of the bachelor. you all already know what i'm thinking because, most likely, you're thinking it too. all i can say is that i'm disappointed that the network stooped so low. i realize it's all about ratings, and that people who go on those shows usually get what they have coming but i was left feeling a little sad for us all (for melissa especially). i loved how she said, 'you took that from me,' when referring to getting engaged. anywho, here's a clip from jimmy kimmel that made me giggle in more than one place. i love that jimmy's pretty much making fun of jason the whole time. enjoy!
