I love fall...definitely my favorite season. Football games, blankets, and comfort food. i just bought my first roast of the season yesterday. it's in the fridge covered in seasoning right now, and i can't wait to put it in the crock pot for the day tomorrow...there's NOTHING better than coming home from work to a house that smells like that. SO excited. Another reason i love fall is the beginning of fall tv. last night kicked off the season premieres of a couple shows i wanted to see. the first was 'the big bang theory' ~ a little sitcom about a couple nerdy guys and the hot girl who moved in across the hall. jenna and i really enjoyed it, so 2 thumbs up. the 2nd was 'journeyman.' i have to admit it took me a while to get into it, but we really liked that one as well...we like to call it the 2007 version of 'quantum leap.' (and i hate to admit this, but we watched SOME of the new 'batchelor' ~ YIKES!) in all, i was pleased with monday's new shows. i'm looking forward to a few more new shows including 'private practice,' 'big shots,' and 'life.' and let's not forget about some returning favorites including 'the office,' 'grey's anantomy,' and of course 'saturday night live.' i'll post my thoughts on each...

Not to jump the gun, but aren't you excited for Thanksgiving??! Yum.
So impressed about the roast. You'll have to show me what you do so I can make it sometime.
I'll be continuing to DVR Private Practice just for Pete and Sam... :) Love it...
YES, so excited for thanksgiving! the roast turned out great BUT i wish i would have put it on the 8 hour setting instead of the 6 hour setting...it cooked way faster than i thought it would. it was still yummy, though! i love my crockpot!
